A Grand Slam Evening at Habitat SLO Night with the Blues!
If you heard cheering from Sinsheimer Stadium last Tuesday night, you were probably catching the sounds of Habitat SLO Night at the Blues! We’re still riding high after an unforgettable evening of baseball, community, and connection!
Habitat SLO took over the ballpark on June 17th for a night to remember—and the Blues didn’t disappoint, clinching a thrilling win in the 12th inning! Talk about a nail-biter. Fans were on the edge of their seats until the very last swing, and the energy in the stadium was electric.
But the real win for us? Seeing so many of our amazing supporters in the stands, waving foam fingers, sporting Habitat hats, and sharing stories of why affordable housing matters.
We also had the pleasure of introducing our new CEO, Anthony Overton, to the community. From the first pitch to the final run, Anthony was all smiles—chatting with volunteers, partners, and families who make our mission possible.
If you haven’t had a chance to meet him yet, stay tuned—he’s ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work building homes, community, and hope.
A huge thank you to the SLO Blues for welcoming us with open arms (and cracker jacks), and to everyone who claimed a complimentary ticket and showed up to celebrate Habitat’s mission in action. We loved seeing the ballpark full of friendly faces and big-hearted fans.
