Getting your drop-off donation approved or scheduling your ReStore donation pick-up just got easier!

When scheduling a donation pick-up, please choose more than one available date and time. All requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before your first requested pick-up date. Photos must be uploaded at time of request, or it will automatically be denied in the portal software.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are locally managed, non-profit home improvement and donation centers. Revenue from sales provides a major source of funding for our work in San Luis Obispo County while offering shoppers lower-cost options for home renovation and repair projects.
When you donate to a ReStore, you’re keeping items out of landfills and reducing waste, all while supporting local affordable housing. Start at the ReStore and see what you can save!
So far in 2025 our shoppers have diverted
1,112,000 pounds
of usable materials from the landfill.
Every $1 sold in the ReStore equates to 1.3 pounds of diverted waste. Shoppers and donors show their commitment to sustainability when they choose to start at the ReStore.

ReSupply Priority Pickup
ReSupply provides a Priority Pickup option to our donors. With ReSupply donors pay a fee and ReSupply will retrieve, disassemble, and deliver items to us.
Some donors may prefer this service, but donors are not required to use ReSupply to donate to us.
Donors Can Drop-off
Walk in during Donation Hours with your small donations. Before packing your items, please review the donation guidelines.
When planning to donate large items or large quantities, please contact the store in advance.
Donation Pickup Service
Yes, we offer limited pick-up services. Please contact your local ReStore to discuss options.
Pickups are usually arranged two weeks out. Items must be prepared for pickup, placed outside of the home or in a garage. easily accessible and protected from weather. When available, this service is free.
ReStore volunteers help build homes without lifting a hammer.

Can I donate this item to your ReStore?
Our ReStores are equipped to accept clean, usable, safe donations of construction materials, furniture, appliances, fixtures, finishes, and more. Please review our ReStore Inventory page for more information on acceptable donations. Sometimes, even if an item is named on our acceptable donations list, we may not have room for the item in our store. It’s often a good idea to contact the store prior to bringing in your donation so you can be sure we will be able to accept it.
What are ReStore donation hours and why are they different from store hours?
To ensure we have enough time to process, prepare, price, and stock the donations we receive, we reserve dedicated donation hours in our ReStore locations, which differ from store or shopping hours. You can view our donation hours for each store on our Hours page.
Will you pick up my ReStore donation?
We offer limited donation pickup services with an approximately two-week lead time, subject to current inventory needs and staff availability. Please send photos of your items via our ReStore Donation Portal.
We have partnered with ReSupply, to provide an alternative pickup option for our donors. For a small fee to the donor, ReSupply offers priority pickup services which includes retrieval, disassembly, and delivery of items to one of our ReStores. Donors are not required to use ReSupply to donate to one of our ReStores.
