Volunteer

Volunteers provide the essential heart and hands of our programs.

Our work is possible thanks to the generous support of volunteers and donors who ensure the success of all our programs. We invite anyone committed to the vision that all people should have access to decent, affordable housing, and safe, healthy communities to support our work by volunteering with us. We maintain an open door policy welcoming applicants, donors, and volunteers from all backgrounds and affiliations. No experience is necessary to volunteer; we welcome volunteers of all skill levels and interests to join us as we work to fulfill our mission. All volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Program Volunteers

Volunteering in one of our programs is a rewarding way to serve our community while learning valuable skills, and building meaningful relationships. Under the supervision of qualified leaders, our program volunteers often work alongside partner families to create safe, decent, and affordable housing in our community.

Construction Leadership Volunteers and Referred Contractors

Many Habitat projects require a licensed contractor or qualified crew leader to provide on-site leadership and expertise. Construction leadership volunteers may work independently or alongside other volunteers on a program activity.

Home Preservation & Neighborhood Revitalization Program Volunteers

Our Home Preservation and Neighborhood Revitalization programs require volunteers with a variety of skillsets and experiences. As volunteer shifts for these programs become available, they will be posted to our Volunteer Calendar.

Administrative Volunteers

If you are interested in supporting the “behind the scenes” work that makes our programs and operations possible, consider applying as an administrative volunteer. Administrative volunteers may be skilled in photography, financial literacy, event coordination or planning, office support, data entry, and more. Share your special skills with us and we’ll find a great way for you to give back to your community.
